Do you mind the gap? Do you? I don’t, I’ve no objection to it at all. I’ve passed by it many times and it can do what it likes as far as I’m concerned as long as it doesn’t bother me. It’s never bothered me and I really don’t mind it being there. I mind my Ps and Qs (sometimes) and I’ll mind the baby but I don’t mind the gap.
Do you watch what you eat? Do you? I don’t think I do. I look at it before I cut it up or before I put it into my mouth but I don’t watch it. Why should I, is it going to do something? I certainly don’t sit there studying it, contemplating it, waiting for something to happen to it that is for sure.
Do you keep your eyes peeled? Do you? I hope not, it sounds very painful. Just trying to touch my own eyes makes them smart and I always look upon those who wear contact lenses with much admiration. But peeling them, paring away the outer skin would just be too much. No, I’m not going to do that.
Do you keep apart two chevrons? Do you? I don’t know if I do, I’ve never really thought about it. Don’t chevrons come in groups anyway? Don’t they fit snugly into each other, point into the v, point into the v? Why would I want to split them up let alone try to keep them apart? It all seems to be a little pointless, something King Canute might try.
Do you look both ways? Do you? Are there two ways of looking? I look through the holes in the front of my eyes, the pupils, but it’s all one-way traffic and never both ways. Light comes in but never out like some sort of laser ray. I have more than one look mind you, smart, casual and smart casual. I can also pull my face into different looks though I think that my repertoire consists of more than just two but then I don’t have to see them.
It may be my mother tongue but I’ll never understand the English language.
